2023 oil varieties
Certified Organic Grove Blend
Our 2023 oil is now fully certified organic and extra virgin. We may be a little biased, but we think it is delicious. It’s a grove blend made up of leccino and frantoio varieties. The official tasting notes are “green grass and floral notes on the nose, pleasant in the mouth“. This oil was awarded a silver medal at the NZ Extra Virgin Olive oil awards.
Our grove blend has been certified intense. It just sneaked it with a polyphenol count of 300. This is one of the five intense olive oils in NZ for 2023.
Available in 500ml and 250ml.
Chilli Infused
We are now pleased to be able to offer our first olive oil infusions. The base oil is from spray free certified extra virgin 2022 NZ oil and it was infused in July 2023. The base oil needs to be relatively mild to allow the infusion to shine through.
This matches perfectly with curries or other Asian dishes. Or try on a salad to give a bit of shish.
Available in 250ml bottles. Limited supply.
Lemon Infused
As with the chilli oil, the based oil is from spray free 2022 oil and was infused in July 2023.
This is delicious drizzled over asparagus with a touch of salt and pepper.
